Lovejoy is a perfect 7-0 against Morrow since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will square off against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lovejoy has five straight wins, Morrow has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Lovejoy's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past McIntosh 21-0. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 34-6, which was the final score in Morrow's tilt against Newnan on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 311th, while the Cougars are ranked 82nd).

Lovejoy's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Morrow, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Lovejoy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Morrow in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 12-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
