The Shadow Mountain Matadors topped the host Central Bobcats volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Matadors now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peoria for a non-league test on Saturday, September 10. Shadow Mountain will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 5-4.

The Bobcats (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ). The Titans enter the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Arcadia was knocked off by Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ), 3-2, in a non-league test.
