In Tuesday's league outing, the Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball squad beat the host Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC), by a margin of 67-59.

The Yellowjackets (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC). The Bobcats go into the 1A Northwest Piedmont outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Piedmont Classical defeated Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC), 66-49, in a league outing.

The Cardinals now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Millennium for a 1A Northwest Piedmont outing on Friday, January 5.
