In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Akron Tigers basketball team scored a good 75-56 triumph over the Eden Raiders.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Medina Mustangs (Medina, NY) in a Section 6 Niagara - Orleans match, on Friday, January 6. Akron will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 2-5 record after their 67-38 league loss to Albion (Albion, NY).

With the defeat, Eden moves to 0-5 on the year. The Raiders host Forestville Central (Forestville, NY) to meet the Hornets in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 4.
