Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Akron Tigers (Akron, NY) and the host Kennedy Bears (Cheektowaga, NY), saw Akron's basketball squad wallop Kennedy by a tally of 79-49.

With the victory, Akron improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Christian Central Academy (Williamsville, NY) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 21. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Bears confront the Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County III challenge, on Friday, December 16.
