In Friday's league outing, the Akron Tigers (Akron, NY) basketball squad felled the visiting Wilson Lakemen (Wilson, NY), by a margin of 62-45.

The Tigers (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Newfane (Newfane, NY). The Panthers go into the Section 6 Niagara - Orleans outing with a 14-4 record. In their last outing, Newfane thwarted Albion (Albion, NY), 63-59, in a league outing.
