New York High School Basketball - Akron overwhelms Medina

January 6, 2023: Akron, NY 14001

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Akron Tigers (Akron, NY) and the visiting Medina Mustangs (Medina, NY), saw Akron's basketball squad wallop Medina by a tally of 70-40.

With the victory, Akron improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Barker (Barker, NY) to play the Raiders in a Section 6 Niagara - Orleans challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Barker lost 56-54 in their recent league challenge against Albion (Albion, NY)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Western New York Maritime Charter Commodores (Buffalo, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Medina will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
