The Holland Dutchmen basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Akron Tigers to 57 in the Dutchmen non-league triumph on Friday.

The Dutchmen now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alden for a Section 6 Erie County IV contest on Friday, December 16. Holland will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 71-46 non-league loss to Barker (Barker, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Cheektowaga, NY). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Kennedy nudged Wilson (Wilson, NY), 51-42, in a non-league contest.
