New York High School Basketball - Barker can't hold off Wilson
January 24, 2023: Wilson, NY 14172 The Wilson Lakemen basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Barker Raiders to 49 in the Lakemen league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lakemen now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Royalton-Hartland for a Section 6 Niagara - Orleans contest on Friday, January 27. Wilson will battle a Rams team coming off a 63-52 league win over Barker (Barker, NY). The Rams record now stands at 8-5.
The Raiders (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Newfane (Newfane, NY). The Panthers enter the Section 6 Niagara - Orleans contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Newfane nudged Medina (Medina, NY), 61-31, in a league contest.
