Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Newfane Panthers (Newfane, NY) and the host Barker Raiders (Barker, NY), saw Newfane's basketball squad hold off Barker by a tally of 64-61.

With the victory, Newfane improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Royalton-Hartland (Middleport, NY) to confront the Rams in a Section 6 Niagara - Orleans challenge on Friday, January 6. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 5-3.
