Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Scranton Prep overwhelms West Scranton
January 3, 2023: Scranton, PA 18509 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) and the visiting West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA), saw Scranton Prep's basketball squad wallop West Scranton by a tally of 75-53.
With the victory, Scranton Prep improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA) to play the Comets in a Lackawanna 1 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Abington Heights won 56-49 in their recent league challenge against Scranton (Scranton, PA)
Next up, the Invaders play the Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 challenge, on Friday, January 6. West Scranton will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 62-30 league loss to Honesdale (Honesdale, PA).
