The Central Crossing Comets basketball team (Grove City, OH), dropped 52-38 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Canal Winchester Indians (Canal Winchester, OH)

The Indians now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westerville South for a Ohio Capital - Capital battle on Friday, January 5. Canal Winchester will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 72-54 non-league win over Harvest Prep (Canal Winchester, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-3.

The Comets (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Newark (Newark, OH). The Wildcats come into the Ohio Capital - Buckeye battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Newark prevailed over Thomas Worthington (Worthington, OH), 36-29, in a non-league battle.
