In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Southern Alamance Patriots basketball team scored a good 50-36 win over the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves.

The Patriots (9-0) will now prepare for their contest against Person (Roxboro, NC). The Rockets come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Person defeated Northern Durham (Durham, NC), 74-24, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Fighting Red Wolves battle the Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Cedar Ridge will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record.
