New Jersey High School Basketball - Caldwell overwhelms Columbia
January 4, 2024: West Caldwell, NJ 07006 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ) and the visiting Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ), saw Caldwell's basketball squad wallop Columbia by a tally of 76-49.
With the victory, Caldwell improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Eastside (Paterson, NJ) to confront the Ghosts in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Ghosts come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Eastside won 51-31 in their recent league challenge against Passaic (Passaic, NJ)
Next up, the Cougars confront the East Side Red Raiders (Newark, NJ) in a Super Essex - American challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Columbia will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
