January 4, 2024: Tierra Amarilla, NM 87575 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Escalante Lobos (Tierra Amarilla, NM) and the visiting Dulce Hawks (Dulce, NM), saw Escalante's basketball squad wallop Dulce by a tally of 67-37.
With the victory, Escalante improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Lobos travel to McCurdy (Espanola, NM) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. McCurdy won 70-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Mesa Vista Trojans (Ojo Caliente, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Dulce will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 70-68 non-league loss to McCurdy (Espanola, NM).
