Perry Commodores (Lima, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH), 57-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Perry upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Commodores travel to Kenton (Kenton, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Kenton lost 59-30 in their recent league bout against Bath (Lima, OH)

Next up, the Rams play the McComb Panthers (McComb, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Upper Scioto Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
