Minnesota High School Basketball - Sleepy Eye nips Cedar Mountain
January 5, 2024: Morgan, MN 56266 Sleepy Eye Indians (Sleepy Eye, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cedar Mountain Cougars (Morgan, MN), 58-52 in a league bout.
With the win, Sleepy Eye upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Indians host Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 8-1.
Next up, the Cougars play the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) in a A Section 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Cedar Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 91-55 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, MN).
