January 5, 2024: Eagle Grove, IA 50533 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA) and the visiting North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA), saw Eagle Grove's basketball squad wallop North Iowa by a tally of 80-50.
With the victory, Eagle Grove improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA) to confront the Gaels in a North Central challenge on Monday, January 8. The Gaels come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. St. Edmond won 57-52 in their recent league challenge against Algona (Algona, IA)
Next up, the Bison confront the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals (Garner, IA) in a North Iowa challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. North Iowa will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record.
