January 23, 2024: Eagle Grove, IA 50533 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lake Mills Bulldogs (Lake Mills, IA) and the host Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA), saw Lake Mills's basketball squad wallop Eagle Grove by a count of 107-68.
With the victory, Lake Mills upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA) to play the Cardinals in a North Iowa challenge on Friday, January 26. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. Garner-Hayfield/Ventura won 62-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA)
Next up, the Eagles play the West Hancock Eagles (Britt, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Eagle Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 49-48 league win over North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA).
