Iowa High School Basketball - Bishop Garrigan knocked off by Eagle Grove
December 8, 2023: Eagle Grove, IA 50533 The Eagle Grove Eagles basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears to 64 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Mills for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Eagle Grove will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 87-61 non-league win over Central Springs (Manly, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-0.
The Golden Bears (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Garner-Hayfield/Ventura ran past Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA), 29-26, in a non-league contest.
