January 5, 2024: Slayton, MN 56172 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Murray County Central Rebels (Slayton, MN) and the visiting Edgerton Flying Dutchmen (Edgerton, MN), saw Murray County Central's basketball squad wallop Edgerton by a count of 88-67.
With the victory, Murray County Central upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (Tracy, MN) to play the Panthers in a A Section 3 challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton lost 83-62 in their recent league challenge against Dawson-Boyd (Dawson, MN)
Next up, the Flying Dutchmen play the Westbrook-Walnut Grove Chargers (Westbrook, MN) in a A Section 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Edgerton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 61-48 league loss to Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN).
