Louisiana High School Basketball - Ruston crushes Northwood
January 5, 2024: Shreveport, LA 71107 Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Northwood Falcons (Shreveport, LA), 80-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ruston upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Calvary Baptist Academy won 66-64 in their recent non-league bout against Bossier (Bossier City, LA)
Next up, the Falcons clash with the DeRidder Dragons (DeRidder, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Northwood will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 50-47 non-league win over Green Oaks (Shreveport, LA).
