In Friday's league outing, the Sheridan Blackhawks (Sheridan, IN) basketball squad edged the host Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), by a count of 64-57.

The Blackhawks (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Rossville (Rossville, IN). The Hornets go into the Hoosier Heartland outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Rossville was tipped by Taylor (Kokomo, IN), 68-46, in a league outing.

The Trojans now hold a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wes-Del for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 6. Tri-Central will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 58-33 non-league loss to Tri (Straughn, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 3-6.
