Colorado High School Basketball - Severance beaten by Timnath

January 6, 2026: Timnath, CO 80547

The Timnath Cubs were victorious over the visiting Severance Silver Knights basketball squad by a final score of 64-56 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Cubs clash with the Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) in a 5A/4A Longs Peak outing, on Friday, January 9. Timnath will attempt to upgrade on its 8-0 season record. The Spartans enter the outing with a 5-3 record after their 74-44 league win over Greeley Central (Greeley, CO).

The Silver Knights (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Thompson Valley (Loveland, CO). The Eagles go into the 5A/4A Longs Peak game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Thompson Valley toppled Mountain View (Loveland, CO), 73-55, in a league game.
