January 7, 2024: Romeoville, IL 60446 Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Curie Condors (Chicago, IL) and the host Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL), saw Curie's basketball squad overcome Romeoville by a tally of 51-43.
With the victory, Curie improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Condors host Perspectives Leadership/Technology (Chicago, IL) to play the Warriors in a Chicago Public - Red South challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Perspectives Leadership/Technology won 64-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Zion-Benton (Zion, IL)
Next up, the Spartans play the Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Romeoville will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 65-58 league loss to Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL).
