South Dakota High School Basketball - Castlewood overwhelms Flandreau
January 7, 2025: Castlewood, SD 57223 The Castlewood Warriors basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Flandreau Fliers to 28 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Deuel for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Castlewood will play a Cardinals team coming off a 64-38 non-league win over Webster (Webster, SD). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Flandreau falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Fliers host Tri-Valley (Colton, SD) to play the Mustangs in a A Region 3 game on Friday, January 10. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 3-4. Tri-Valley won 42-27 in their recent non-league game against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD)
