The Forest Hills Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Piedmont Panthers to 56 in the Yellow Jackets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Yellow Jackets now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they host West Stanly for a 2A/3A Rocky River game on Wednesday, January 8. Forest Hills will confront a Colts team coming off a 64-36 league loss to Monroe (Monroe, NC). The Colts record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Piedmont falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Central Academy (Monroe, NC) to confront the Cougars in a 2A/3A Rocky River game on Friday, January 10. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 1-13. Central Academy lost 91-41 in their recent league game against Anson (Wadesboro, NC)
