The Carmel Christian Cougars got by the visiting Concord Academy Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 54-49 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, January 13. Carmel Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Trojans come into the outing with a 12-6 record after their 65-53 league win over Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Eagles (19-3) will now prepare for their outing against Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Warriors come into the NCISAA Metrolina outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, Metrolina Christian Academy was nipped by Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC), 37-35, in a non-league outing.
