Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ), 66-55 in a league match.

With the victory, Cortez advances its record to 9-1 on the year. The Colts host Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Titans in a non-league match on Monday, January 13. The Titans enter the match with a record of 9-6. Arcadia won 55-53 in their recent league match against St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ)

The Buffaloes now own a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coronado for a 4A Black Canyon match on Friday, January 10. Tempe will face a Dons squad coming off a 78-55 league loss to Yuma (Yuma, AZ). The Dons record now stands at 3-8.
