Maine High School Basketball - York bests Freeport
January 9, 2025: York, ME 03909 The York Wildcats basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Freeport Falcons to 46 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now possess a 11-0 record. They play next when they host Kennebunk for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. York will play a Rams team coming off a 66-57 league win over Biddeford (Biddeford, ME). The Rams record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Freeport falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Gardiner (Gardiner, ME) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 5-4. Gardiner lost 64-49 in their recent league game against Camden Hills (Rockport, ME)
