January 10, 2023: Madison, SD 57042 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Madison Bulldogs (Madison, SD) and the visiting Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD), saw Madison's basketball squad overcome Vermillion by a tally of 52-44.
With the victory, Madison improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Flandreau (Flandreau, SD) to confront the Fliers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Fliers come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Flandreau won 50-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Parker (Parker, SD)
Next up, the Tanagers confront the Lennox Orioles (Lennox, SD) in a A Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Vermillion will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Orioles come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 65-52 non-league win over Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD).
