New Jersey High School Basketball - Belleville overwhelmed by Newark Collegiate Academy
January 10, 2024: Newark, NJ 07103 The Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting Belleville Buccaneers to 33 in the Panthers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Irvington for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Newark Collegiate Academy will battle a Blue Knights team coming off a 58-52 league loss to Columbia (Maplewood, NJ). The Blue Knights record now stands at 5-4.
The Buccaneers (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ). The Chiefs come into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record.
