In Wednesday's league outing, the Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA), by a count of 60-49.

The Indians (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA). The Seals go into the Heartland I outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Selinsgrove defeated Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA), 72-52, in a league outing.
