The Maize South Mavericks (Wichita, KS) basketball crushed the host Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS), 57-34 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Mavericks (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Haysville Campus (Wichita, KS). The Colts go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Haysville Campus was trounced by Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS), 51-49, in a non-league test.
