The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the St. Raymond Boys Ravens (Bronx, NY) and the visiting Iona Prep Gaels (New Rochelle, NY), observed St. Raymond Boys's basketball team knock off Iona Prep by a score of 73-62.

The Ravens (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Nazareth (Brooklyn, NY). The Kingsmen come into the Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Nazareth prevailed over Varsity Opponent (, ), 83-66, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Gaels encounter the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Iona Prep will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record.
