Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA), 58-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Conemaugh Township upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Indians travel to North Star (Boswell, PA) to play the Cougars in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 8-5. North Star won 70-65 in their recent non-league bout against Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays (Johnstown, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Blacklick Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Blue Jays go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 47-31 league win over Ferndale (Johnstown, PA).
