Nebraska Lutheran Knights (Waco, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting High Plains Storm (Polk, NE), 66-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nebraska Lutheran upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Shelby-Rising City won 50-39 in their recent non-league bout against Hampton (Hampton, NE)

Next up, the Storm play the Dorchester Longhorns (Dorchester, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. High Plains will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 49-35 non-league loss to East Butler (Brainard, NE).
