Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN) and the host Highland Trojans (Highland, IN), saw Munster's basketball squad overcome Highland by a tally of 54-34.

With the victory, Munster improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Merrillville (Merrillville, IN) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Merrillville lost 63-46 in their recent league challenge against Crown Point (Crown Point, IN)

Next up, the Trojans play the Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles (Lake Station, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Highland will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Fighting Eagles come into the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 73-59 non-league win over Hebron (Hebron, IN).
