The Briarcrest Christian Saints basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Christian Brothers Purple Wave to 62 in the Saints league victory on Friday.

The Saints now sport a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Memphis University for a Division II-AA West contest on Friday, January 19.

The Purple Wave (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cordova (Cordova, TN). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 19-1 record. In their last contest, Cordova edged Marion (Marion, AR), 62-52, in a non-league contest.
