In Sunday's league test, the St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers (Washington, DC) basketball squad defeated the visiting Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets (Spencerville, MD), by a final score of 52-36.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Washington International Red Devils (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA A test, on Tuesday, January 14. St. Anselm's Abbey will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record.

The Hornets (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Washington Christian Academy (Olney, MD). The Wildcats come into the Potomac Valley test with a 2-1 record.
