The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers (Washington, DC) and the visiting Field Falcons (Washington, DC), observed St. Anselm's Abbey's basketball team overwhelm Field by a score of 63-29.

The Panthers (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Georgetown Day (Washington, DC). The Mighty Hoppers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Georgetown Day was routed by Potomac School (McLean, VA), 77-52, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Washington Christian Academy Wildcats (Olney, MD) in a Potomac Valley challenge, on Monday, January 27. Field will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 62-44 league loss to St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC).
