Fans at Friday's league challenge between the South Charlotte Thunder Thunder (Matthews, NC) and the visiting Forsyth Home Educators Hawks (Winston-Salem, NC), saw South Charlotte Thunder's basketball squad wallop Forsyth Home Educators by a tally of 69-40.

With the victory, South Charlotte Thunder improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Thunder host Surry HomeSchool (Mount Airy, NC) to confront the Runnin' Patriots in a North Carolina Home Education - West challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Runnin' Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-14. Surry HomeSchool lost 62-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Community Baptist (Reidsville, NC)

Next up, the Hawks confront the Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Forsyth Home Educators will attempt to improve on its 5-18 season record.
