South Charlotte Thunder Thunder (Matthews, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Forsyth Home Educators Hawks (Winston-Salem, NC), 72-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Charlotte Thunder upgrades its record to 21-9 on the season. The Thunder travel to Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC) to play the Stallions in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 22-9. Greater Cabarrus Stallions won 57-45 in their recent non-league bout against South Guilford HomeSchool (High Point, NC)
