Rockridge Rockets (Taylor Ridge, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL), 63-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rockridge upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Rockets host Alleman (Rock Island, IL) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 5-14. Alleman lost 81-32 in their recent league bout against Moline (Moline, IL)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Sherrard Tigers (Sherrard, IL) in a Three Rivers - West bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Morrison will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 58-50 non-league loss to Dixon (Dixon, IL).
