North Carolina High School Basketball - Riverside-Martin crushes Perquimans

January 13, 2023: Hertford, NC 27944

Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC), 84-61 in a league bout.

With the victory, Riverside-Martin upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Washington (Washington, NC) to play the Pam Pack in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Pam Pack come into the bout with a record of 7-9. Washington won 95-57 in their recent league bout against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC)

Next up, the Pirates play the Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Perquimans will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 70-68 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, VA).
