The Riverside-Martin Knights basketball team (Williamston, NC), was overwhelmed 57-33 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Washington County Panthers (Plymouth, NC)

The Panthers now possess a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bertie for a 1A Conference 2 battle on Friday, February 10. Washington County will confront a Falcons team coming off a 72-47 league win over Gates County (Gatesville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 19-3.

The Knights (14-9) will now prepare for their battle against Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Pirates come into the 1A Conference 2 battle with a 5-16 record. In their last battle, Perquimans was overwhelmed by Bertie (Windsor, NC), 84-37, in a league battle.
