Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC) and the visiting Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC), saw Riverside-Martin's basketball squad hold off Perquimans by a count of 75-69.

With the victory, Riverside-Martin upgrades its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Knights host Tarboro (Tarboro, NC) to play the Vikings in a 1A Conference 2 challenge on Monday, February 13. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 5-16. Tarboro won 81-72 in their recent league challenge against North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC)
