The Washington County Panthers routed the visiting Gates County Red Barons basketball team by a final score of 65-27 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC) in a 1A Conference 2 game, on Friday, February 17. Washington County will attempt to move on its 21-1 season record.
