Nevada High School Basketball - Damonte Ranch holds off Galena

The Damonte Ranch Mustangs basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Galena Grizzlies to 39 in the Mustangs league triumph on Monday.

The Mustangs now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Spanish Springs for a 4A Northern game on Wednesday, January 15. Damonte Ranch will confront a Cougars team coming off a 65-23 league win over Reed (Sparks, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Galena falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Reno (Reno, NV) to confront the Huskies in a 4A Northern game on Wednesday, January 15. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 12-5. Reno won 67-56 in their recent league game against McQueen (Reno, NV)
