In Friday's league contest, the host Reed Raiders basketball team scored a good 61-43 win over the Galena Grizzlies.

The Raiders (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Wolverines come into the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Truckee defeated Sparks (Sparks, NV), 67-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV) in a 4A Northern contest, on Monday, January 13. Galena will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 8-7 record after their 70-69 league loss to Douglas (Minden, NV).
